A Photo Guide around the World

Santorini ...

... the white silhouette on the crater rim.

Visiting Santorini the Island of lava layers, pumice and volcano ash has been a long-cherished dream of me. In September 2016 the time had finally come. One week filled with white houses, blue church cupolas, Greek wine, Saganaki, Fava and tomato keftedes and the love of my life!

Santorini is definitely amazing , but there are also some things you should know about the island. First of all, the world famous motifs are not located in Fira, the capital city , therefore you have to go to Oia. Secondly, you should take a tripod with you. During daytimes the cities are completely flooded with tourists coming for a day-trip with the large cruise-ships. But after sundown the narrow streets become less crowded, and the island unfolds its beautiful charm. One thing is for sure, you will not leave Santorini without great pictures.
